The fibres of the alpaca wool are fine and thin, and textiles made of alpaca wool are thus very soft. Baby alpaca wool is extra fine and soft and primarily comes from the first cut of the alpacas, when they are about 2½ years old.
The fibres of the alpaca woolare semi-hollow; giving Alpaca fibre added insulating value. We use this quality to weave extra fine and thin textiles that will still keep you warm. And when it is warm, the textiles feel cool.
The structure of the alpaca fibre makes it more hard-wearing than other wool fibres as for instance sheep wool and cashmere. Thus you can have your alpaca products for many years.
Textiles made of sheep wool often pill and get bits of fluff. This is due to the fact that wool fibres are uneven, which make the fibres stick to each other and eventually develop bits of fluff. Alpaca fibres are however smooth. Due to the large content of alpaca wool and a special technique of weaving our products have minimum pill.

Packstation or Postfiliale
You can send your order to any DHL Packstation or Postfiliale. Simply select the point "DHL Packstation/Postfiliale" at the different shipping address and enter the data. Optionally, you can find the best Packstation or Postfiliale near you by clicking the button [search Packstation/Postfiliale]. Delivery to a mailbox is not possible.
Usually we ship your order completely. If you order products with different delivery times, we can make a free part delivery. Please contact us separately if you want a partial delivery. Free partial deliveries are not possible outside of Germany.
Delivery time display
If a product is not in stock at our warehouse in sufficient numbers, it will be ordered for you. The expected delivery time within Germany is displayed on the product detail page, in your shopping cart and in the order confirmation e-mail. For deliveries abroad you need to add the longer running time of the packets. You will be notified separately when unexpected delays occur.
Switzerland and non-EU countriess
Swiss customers and non-EU customers do not pay the German VAT (19%) and will receive a net invoice. The VAT is levied on the country, mostly by the customs authorities. Process of a return:
- Fill in all fields in the DHL Returns Portal and confirm your details with the [Next] button.
- Now you can open the return label as a PDF document and print it out.
Alternatively, you can show the QR code with your smartphone at Deutsche Post offices, parcel carriers, parcelshops or packstations of DHL to print the label.
- Please pack the products carefully - preferably in the original packaging and stick the DHL return label clearly visible on the package (if possible, remove or stick over the old package label).
- You can hand over the package at the nearest Deutsche Post offices, parcel carriers, parcelshops or packstations of DHL. Many Thanks!
- Once your return has arrived, a credit note will be issued and sent to the registered email address. The credit amount will be refunded via your chosen payment method.
Note: A direct exchange is not possible. If you wish a product e.g. in a different color or size, just make a new order and send back the other product. If you want to complain about a delivered product, please use our complaint form.

To be able to process the order and pay the invoice amount via Amazon, you must be registered there or first register and legitimize with your access data. Then you can choose the delivery address and payment method on Amazon, confirm the use of your data by Amazon and the payment order to us.
