Södahl – home textiles from Denmark
Södahl was founded in 1963 by the artist and designer Hans Jürgen Schobel. Schobel expanded his product range more and more over the years, making the brand the largest supplier of ready-made textiles in Denmark. Thus tablecloths, bathroom textiles and accessories, bed linens, kitchen textiles, cushions, and blankets are offered. The brand was also well known in Germany for the beautiful coated fabrics until the retreat around 2000.
A new Home at F & H of Scandinavia
Schobel sold Södahl to the most important Scandinavian distribution company for household items F & H of Scandinavia. F & H sells among other things companies like Leifheit, Severin, Corning, and Leonardo in Denmark. Till 2015 the Danish distribution professional with Södahl concentrated exclusively on the home markets Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Then the company opened an export department as more and more own brands were added such as Nuance, since 2016 Bitz and Lyngby Glas. Hence, the beautiful collection of Södahl has been offered again in Germany since 2015. The brand presents a new collection twice every year with many new products and new colors.

The F & H Design team gets the inspiration to design the wide collection from their travels to Helsinki, London, New York, and Paris. A particularly high-quality collection of tea towels and bed textiles based on the herbarium collection Flora Danica has been offered since 2016. The most expensive dishes in the world by the Danish porcelain manufacturer Royal Copenhagen is also based on this unique collection of the Danish flora.
