The Danish design brand Normann Copenhagen was founded in 1999 as a shop in the beach Boulevarden in Copenhagen by Poul Madsen and Jan Andersen. In 2002, she laid the design classic from 1969 by Simon Karkov - a pendant lamp for assembling - under the name Norm 69 again. The company was initially known by the standard 69 in Denmark and in the first half of the 2000s and internationally
Poul and Jan are interested in the design of original and functional designs. The idea behind the product is the decisive argument, so that the product will get a place in the collection of the Danish company. The company receives daily 5 to 10 designs from international designers for new products.
The product range goes all the products you need at home and in this clever and designed form.
In addition to the regular collection, the company also presented a new design brand at the 3daysofdesign 2018 in Copenhagen. With the home accessories, kitchen utensils, tablecloths and figures of the Tivoli Collection Normann Copenhagen created a contemporary design label that captures Tivoli’s cultural heritage and enchanting magic.
