Iittala - Origo and Taika - fabrics
‘Magic’ in Finnish, Taika lets you choose from a variety of bold and enchanting pieces. Haapaniemi’s illustrations inspire your own imagination and storytelling. These fascinating and magical designs gradually reveal their details and layers of meaning to the viewer.
The internationally renowned designer Alfredo Häberli 1999, the Origo tableware for Swedish tableware brand Rörstrand designed. It was first presented as a single place setting with white dishes and the two egg cups and the 0.5 liter bowl with the orange-colored stripes. In the wake of the big brand realignment in the Iittala Group, Origo series came a part from the collection of the brand Iittala and has been designed for as tableware with stripe decort. First there were three bowls, the cup without handle and the egg cup. Later the plates and 2013 mug with handle followed. The dish was a huge success in new release and was the Trend Setter for china with stripes. There were several colors like blue blue, red pink (both not in production), beige, turquoise and since 2013 green red. The series adapts well to loosen up the dishes Teema, the orange suit all light blue glass products from Iittala.
The series Origo by Alfredo Häberli can now be described as a modern classic.
Since 2015 offers Iittala a textile collection and two cans with the success pattern of Alfredo Häberli.
